FeRN - the Food and Education Rural e-Network - is a focal point for everyone working in and part of the food, farming and rural sectors - from chief executive to farm secretary, scientist, supermarket buyer, consultant, farmer, teacher and parent - to be able to meet, network, discuss and debate the issues of the day.

- Run by members for members, each contributing and sharing current opinion, news and information online and by email.
- A network of people from all areas of society, not just the food and farming sectors, all with the common belief in supporting our countryside and promoting the food grown in it
- Primarily a women's organisation offering an alternative perspective to the usual commentators..but not restricted to women-only
